In "Ride Responsibly Enjoy the Journey" Larry Biggers shows us how to take the concept of riding a motorcycle safely and combines it into a practical application for our spiritual walk each day. I have had the opportunity to read many books on motorcycle safety and many devotionals targeting motorcyclists. Never have I seen a book that so eloquently ties these two together. This is a devotional book that any motorcyclist would enjoy reading. Reading this book will remind you of safety while riding, but more important, will give you spiritual insight for your daily walk.

As with Larry Biggers, motorcycles have been part of my life since childhood. To this day, well over forty years after my first motorcycle, riding remains an experience which I have difficulty assigning words. Although media stereotypes question whether the experience should be analyzed by Freud, I think Larry has done a better comparison by including his love of riding as part of his spiritual devotion. I enjoyed Larry's analogies thoughout the book and recommend it both as a personal read and as a genesis of group discussions.

I have known Pastor Larry Biggers for some time now. He is a long time motorcycle enthusiast, a good rider and my friend. He is right on target with "Ride Responsibly Enjoy The Journey". You wouldn't think that a book on practical riding tips would fit with the scriptures but it does. Larry takes the best of riding tips and applies scripture to each one in a practical way that is meaningful, easy to read and understand. We are all riders on the road of life and understanding the rules of the road makes our journey not only more rewarding and fulfilling. This book should be read and referred to often... thanks Larry.

The majority of motorcycle accidents are due to "rider error". For your safest motorcycling experience you need to insure that you are not the cause of an accident. Giving special attention to learning and applying proven skills and wise judgment in handling your motorcycle can help you avoid many dangerous siturations.
In his book, Ride Responsibly Enjoy The Journey" Larry Biggers has captured the essence of safe riding and the elements of life that add to the joy of motorcycling.
